Making Strides Breast Cancer Walk of Central Park

Grateful in the community.

Sunday, October 15th, I had the opportunity to walk with my Sorors of Harlem (Tau Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.) and raise funds on behalf of Breast Cancer Awareness. The five mile walk hosted by Making Strides for Breast Cancer Awareness was held at Central Park where the park was beautifully- filled with people from all over all celebrating, standing against breast cancer, all on one accord. It was an awesome experience as hundreds of people were sporting their PINK of all sorts.

As you can see from the photos and video,  it was an awesome experience and I am grateful for the opportunity to lend my feet and my support for those many Badass survivors (many of whom I met during the walk) and those beautiful souls lost, Salute.

For the remainder of the year, my personal page will be open for donations. If interested in donating towards Breast Cancer Awareness, click here.

I’m already looking forward towards my participation on next year, count me in for 2018!

Until next time and check out the entertainment before our walk from Mr. Cheeks of the hip hop group, Lost Boys. Click on the link below ⬇️.
