GB 21: Why Grateful Living?

Grateful Badass Podcast Episode 21- Why Grateful Living?

It’s the second week of the New Year and I’m taking things back to square one!

I felt the need to revisit and restate the mission, origination and wonderful beginnings of the Grateful Badass Platform. Since the turn of the new year, I’m redefining, re-imagining and rethinking where I am and where I want to go in service in 2018 with my platform. Currently, I’m writing, proclaiming and podcasting and there’s so much more in store!

Take a listen and discover, if you weren’t already aware, the reason for this blog, podcast, YouTube Channel- the Grateful Living, Badass Style journey!

In this episode, I also speak of what Grateful Living does for me. How it keeps me grounded and centered. I reference my “unwanted friends” and how the Grateful journey so righteously conquers them all! These unwanted triends are simply:

Unwanted:

  • Fear (Fear Nothing!)
  • Resistance (to change and all that lies ahead, and yes, it may seem scary!)
  • Impatience (we all want things to change overnight, especially after putting in some work)
  • Ego (yes, that!)
  • Nothing (the belief that nothing is happening or working out as planned, and that may be a good thing!)
  • Doubt (of course, older brother to fear)
  • Slumber (when laziness sets in, It Has to GO!)

I also, share my theme for 2018 which is simply, FEAR NOTHING!

If you don’t have a theme for the year, think of one. Each new year, God gives me a word of focus and it helps to direct and order my path, keeps me and my journey alive, well and making a difference.

Let’s refocus and reset as we start the new year off with an amazing BANG!
