Grateful Badass Podcast Episode 23- First Things, First!
I know you’ve seen the articles and posts concerning the traits and routines of highly successful people. This week I discuss how I have taken the advice of those highly successful people and implemented what is called “SAVERS” within my everyday life (mornings).
SAVERS is a term coined by Miracle Morning author, Hal Elrod. I learned about it while in graduate school at Columbia and it is the truth!
Here’s how it goes as I describe my personal use of it in this week’s episode:
- SILENCE
- AFFIRMATION
- VISUALIZATION
- EXERCISE
- READING
- SCRIBING
Have your heard of SAVERS? Tried something similar?
I implore you to listen and possibly see how this morning ritual can work for you. I believe it is a critical key to maintaining and having a successful day, week, month and year. I’ve seen it for myself since November and how it had enhance my day and level of productivity. Now, it’s a part of my daily routine. YES!
Call to Action: Write a letter of Gratitude to someone this week. Simply, blessed their say being saying thank you and let them know just how they have blessed your life .
What I’m Reading: I’m in the mist of The Magic of Thinking BIG by David J. Schwartz and loving this book! I’m starting Sing, Unburied, Sing by Jesmym Ward on this weekend and looking forward to this acclaimed National Book Award Winner. I’m reading Ward’s book along with the Association of Black Women Attorneys (ABWA New York) new book club. I’m excited about joining ABWA’s new book club!
