GB 38: Father’s Day Tribute 2018
In honor of Father’s Day, the Grateful Badass platform, pays tribute and gratefully honors Fathers all over the globe. I lend my microphone to the MEN on this episode.
The men have indeed, spoken.
You MUST take time to hear from my guests on this Father’s Day Weekend. In producing this episode, it was inspiring and exciting listening to all of the personal stories and messages of Fatherly love. On this weekend and on this podcast, we are grateful for Fathers and the tremendous blessing that they are to us. And, of course, I am eternally grateful for mine– who is a guest! - BROTHER MAC, Retired- Memphis City Sheriff’s Dept.: my Heart, my Daddy shares from his heart on his lovely three daughters!
- LAMONT, Entrepeneur, Business Owner: My First Born Love’s Father reveals from his heart his personal and wonderful experience on becoming a Father at the age of 30 and how Fatherhood changed his life.
- THOMAS, Entrepeneur and Business Owner: My youngest’s Father shares an interesting and loving story of parenting our daughter, JSparkle.
- STEVEN: Lovingly speaks on the, too often seen, broken relationship of Father and child, especially within the Black community.
- JOSEPH PATRICK, IT Professional, Celebrity Gospel Drummer and Musician: one of my best friends shares from his heart about his loving relationship with his Father who is resting above.
- SAMUEL, AIrline Professional, Writer and Film Director: my forever Bro-in-Law shares on the tremendous (unconditional) love that he has for his four beautiful children. Two of which are my niece and nephew.
- KEITH, Founder/ Owner of a Personal Fitness and Lifestyle Co., Former Marine: Keith and I go way back. Way back to our high school days back in Tennessee. Keith shares a poignant memory about a treasured Father Figure in his life. A man who helped form and shape him into the man that he is today.
And, there you have it. For me, this episode was pretty dope and definitely epic.
I’m eternally grateful for all of the men that have unselfishly, and some on very short notice, agreed to open up and share with my platform and listeners. Thank you to each of them. Thank you for assisting me in celebrating Father’s Day 2018. Both themselves and Fathers everywhere. Much, much love always.
