Never have been much of a fan of coincidences.
I don’t believe in them.
How could coincidences be so in a world where a vast majority of occurrences are the sum total of several, if not thousands of tiny, catalysts and events.
You run into an old friend on the street. One that you haven’t seen in years. Is this a coincidence?
Some would say yes. I disagree.
This person is strategically on your path of life. There is something that you need to know about this old friend or possibly, something that they need to gain from you.
As sure as the sky is filled with stars by day and by night, our lives are so intertwined with one another. Our bodies, our minds and hearts somehow signal what we need from one another. Like a deep, unseen and unheard echo flowing through both land and sea.
Situations, like people, are no different. You are about to walk out of the house and you have a strong urge to call a friend only to later discover that same friend was taken to the hospital for an unexpected emergency. Your friend is better now, but upon hearing from you, immediately feels as though you have psychic powers.
And that job that was offered and accepted by you where you swore you would loath the experience, certain it was in no way aligned with your values or principles. Until, one day you realize, its perfect for you. Divinely ordained, the best thing that could have ever happened to you and for your professional career.
Coincidence? Not at all.
Keep moving ahead, there’s nothing to see here. Not a one coincidence.
The next time you casually bump into a classmate or your friend crosses your mind in what seems like a fleeting moment. Reach out and ask, what can I kindly do for you, my friend.
How about that opportunity that keeps coming to mind. You know, the opportunity that you aren’t the least bit interested. Stop and give the matter more than a brief thought. What seems boring and unfathomable could just be the door of which you have been seeking. The moment your entire life changes in a spectacular instant.
You honor yourself and humankind with your obedience in yielding to your own intuition. Realize that our human connection with the world around us is far bigger than we could could ever imagine. Far beyond our imagination or learned expectations; far beyond coincidences.
Uniti next time.
