Shana’s Bio…

Ms. Shana Harmongoff is a native New Yorker with a diverse background. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing at South Carolina State University (SCSU). She holds both a Juris Master and Juris Doctor from The Appalachian School of Law and was the Class Elected Speaker for Graduation. Ms. Harmongoff is an active Executive Board Member for her Law Schools Alumni Association where she serves as secretary and is the Chair of the Outreach Committee. She is a member of the New York Chapter of South Carolina State University National Alumni Association.
In 2010, she held the title of Mrs. South Carolina International where she went on to compete for the national title of Mrs. International. During her reign she was a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Abused and Neglected Children where she advocated for the children’s best interest and provided testimony when necessary in court and other settings. Ms. Harmongoff was a licensed Property Manager where she managed several apartment communities in the state of South Carolina.

Ms. Harmongoff was a Board of Director for Esplanade Gardens, Inc., which is one of the largest Co-Op Developments in Harlem, New York.
She is a current member of the Tau Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha
Sorority, Incorporated in Harlem where she serves on their Standards Committee. Ms. Harmongoff is on the Advisory Board for both the Children’s Aid Society in East Harlem and the Hidden Halos Kingdom Assets, Inc., in New York. In 2020, Ms. Harmongoff was chosen as one of City & State NYC 40 Under 40 Rising Stars where she was featured in the City & State magazine. She was the former Director of Community Affairs in the New York State Senate and currently serves as the District Office Director for a New York State Senator in Harlem. Ms. Harmongoff is a Notary Public for the State of New York. She is the proud mother of two children. Ms. Harmongoff loves helping people and giving back to her Harlem community.
