Dr. June’s bio…

Dr. June Scarbough is originally from Sierra Leone, a small country in West Africa. She currently reside in Lithonia, GA. and has 2 adult daughters, and a host of family, relatives, and friends, here in Ga, and all over the globe. Dr June is an Educator, and has been teaching for about 37 years. She loves teaching, because she strongly believes that she was called to the profession, and loves to see students’ faces light up when they “get it.”

She enjoys going to church and proudly calls and sees herself as a Daughter of the King. She enjoys traveling, reading, shopping, and meeting new people and stands by the Golden Rule, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

Dr. June also lives by these famous words of William Shakespeare, “To thine own self be true. And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man. If one is true to oneself, then he can love and appreciate himself more than anyone else, and one can follow clearly the path set forth for him or her.

By faith, she takes each day one day at a time, with the hope that God is with her everywhere she goes, and can stand on His promises.
